About Taylor

Taylor W. Wells is Communications Director for On The Mark Strategies.

Taylor is a veteran of the marketing, public relations, writing, teaching and speaking fields with almost twenty years of experience in a variety of industries. He began his career as a radio news and sports director before transitioning into marketing and public relations roles.

While specializing in credit unions and financial institutions, he also offers practical knowledge and insights to share from non-profit, national defense and franchising. Taylor has contributed to a wide variety of regional and national professional trade journals and mass media publications and broadcasts. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) degree from Angelo State University.

Taylor’s scope of knowledge also covers key fields including speaking, branding, strategic planning, corporate communications, social media applications for large and small businesses, business development, entrepreneurism and business start-ups. He is also co-author of the latest book from On The Mark Strategies, Marked for Success.

While passionate about communications and branding, Taylor’s greatest joy and job is fatherhood. He is an active Cub Scout and Girl Scout volunteer, as well as a multi-year youth sports coach, school activities and church volunteer.

Taylor had that perfect balance of knowledge, drive and enthusiasm. He added real value to our planning process for the year. He did an excellent job of both preparation and facilitation of the process. Board feedback noted that this was a ‘best-ever’ planning session. About Colleen

Colleen Cormier is Account Executive for On the Mark Strategies.

Colleen is an accomplished writer and marketing professional with nearly 20 years experience in the financial services industry. She has authored countless industry white papers, research publications, magazine articles, newsletters and websites. She also has ghost written several books and industry publications. Other industries/sectors for which Colleen has written include: education, religion, community service, public affairs, chambers of commerce, financial services and technology.

Colleen began her career as a broadcast journalist and newspaper reporter before transitioning to corporate communications for a billion dollar credit union. She eventually became the credit union’s marketing director. Colleen is credited with at least 30 credit union marketing awards, as well as the Texas Credit Union League’s prestigious Marketer of the Year award.

Colleen holds a Bachelor of arts degree in English and Journalism from the University of Dallas.

Colleen is passionate about writing, but her greatest passion in life is being a mom. She is an active volunteer at her son’s school and has been honored with the school’s Volunteer of the Year award. Colleen has held several PTA board positions and enjoys using her professional skills to benefit the school. She developed the school’s first e-newsletter, created and maintains the PTA’s Facebook page and served as the schools yearbook editor for four consecutive years. Colleen proudly wears the title Soccer/Taekwondo/Theater/Choir Mom.


About Jim

Jim Foley is a Creative Director for On The Mark Strategies.

For two decades, Jim has provided experience, creative leadership and direction to a wide variety of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups as a creative director.

Jim’s work has been recognized both locally and at a national level, having been published in Print Magazine and The Best Annual Report Design. He has been the recipient of numerous awards including honors from the Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC) and the Dallas Advertising League.

Committed to serving the community, Jim has volunteered his time working as President of the DSVC, and has served on boards for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Dallas Pregnancy Resource Center, and Scofield Christian School. He has also appeared as a guest speaker at MDB’s Bright Lights Conference, the Dallas Chapter of Credit Union’s monthly meetings, and the Texas Credit Union League school, as well as commencement ceremonies at Southern Methodist University and Westwood School of Technology. In addition, Jim taught at Brookhaven Community College for over two years and has been involved in a mentoring program for South Dallas elementary schools. He also leads a community group at his church, Watermark Community Church. Jim is married and has two daughters in college.



About Jeff

Jeff Kjoller is a Creative Director for On The Mark Strategies.

Jeff has extensive experience in art direction and graphic design, having served employers and clients in a creative capacity for more than twenty-five years as a creative director. After graduating from the University of North Texas with a BFA in Communication Design, Jeff began his career at Nortel Networks where he managed the design and production of marketing materials used by the wireless division’s sales and training team.

After 10 years with Nortel Networks, Jeff joined Beckett Publications as Creative Director in 1999 and was responsible for the design and production of six monthly magazines. His staff of over twenty employees designed and produced all of the collectible magazines to support the various collectible fields.

Jeff was also Creative Director at Texans Credit Union, the third largest credit union in Texas with assets exceeding $1.7 billion. He served in this role for more than eight years, overseeing all marketing materials and corporate communications.



About Matt

Matt Risenhoover is Sales Trainer for On The Mark Strategies.

Matt has worked as a successful financial advisor for over 15 years in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. He has direct experience managing the day-to-day operations of wealth management divisions of financial institutions and also training and directing staff. Matt has also worked on successful programs that help develop and maintain current consumer relationships, specifically identifying and developing prospect lists through training of staff and client referrals. Matt is an energetic and dynamic trainer with the unique ability to provide compelling and inclusive training support to the wide diversity of trainees.
